Within my final soundscape I utilized musical elements to portray my take of a “hectic work day”. Through elements such as repetition, layering, and fluctuation I formulated a beginning and middle and end of a story plot. Within the introduction of my song I utilized fade in/ outs to accomplish a softer noise with a lower density of layering. I used longer tracks such as a keyboard typing for background audio, while I contrasted the background audio with shorter more pronounced audio samples. Within the middle section of my track I used heavier layering with various short samples placed in rhythmic patterns to transition tempo from the introduction to the middle of my story. In the conclusion of my composition I utilized a slower tempo with various fade outs to emphasize the end of my composition. Throughout utilizing various effects, tempos, and manipulations within individual samples, I was able to produce a a composition of diverse sounds and rhythms.
