Within my animation composition, I would like to reanimate a 1980s Pop Tart commercial, in a parody. The vintage hand drawn pop tart commercials allow for altercation within characterization, due to the ability to reanimate/ redraw the characters within the commercials. My story board consists of a “Monday Morning”, where breakfast takes an unusual turn. Scene one consists of an alarm clock going off (pan into clock, early for class), with a person (in real life) waking up in bed. Scene two, Person (in real life) brushes teeth/ goes into kitchen and sees POP Tarts and picks them up. Scene three, Person (in real life) turns on TV when sitting down to eat, and a pop tart commercial comes on. Scene four, pans into Pop Tart commercial on TV. Scene five, using an old Pop tart commercial, I am going to remake/ re-edit the commercial for pop tart to rebel rather than be eaten (pop tart eats person instead of person eating pop tart). Scene six, puts pop tarts back (in real life) alarm clock noise starts in the background growing louder. Scene Seven, black wipe scene to person back in bed with alarm clock going off, late for class. Within my animation composition, I would like to utilize premiere (green screen) and after effects (key framing) to remake and edit a filmed/ drawn/ re-edited composition.
